The police began the unannounced sweep of the camp abruptly at 5:45 a.m. the day after the announced date of camp closure. I arrived by 6:30 a.m. and stayed until 2:40 p.m. I was denied access to witness and document the actual sweep, but remained outside the barrier and documented from there.
